Before MVSU: Played at The Robinson School, a postgraduate school in New Jersey, during the 2013-14 season where he averaged 16 points and nine rebounds....Chose MVSU over Alabama State, South Carolina State, Morehead State and others....

High School: Played at Newark Tech where he averged 13.9 points.....He was named All-Essex County and Fourth Team All-State.....He was named to the Star Ledger All-State First Team after leading the team to a 23-9 mark and a Group 2 state championship......He transferred to Newark Tech after spending three years at Hudson Catholic....Scored more than 1,000 points during high school career....
