Was an all-around athlete for Fern Creek HIgh School in Louisville, Ky.....Rated as a three-star recruit coming out of high school by both Rivals.com and Scout.com.....Was ranked as high as the ninth-best player in the state by Rivals.com....Did it all his senior season at Fern Creek, rushing for over 1,000 yards, had 350 yards receiving, over 200 yards passing and recorded eight TDs on punt and kick returns....Finished his senior season with 25 TDs, including 12 rushing TDs and five receiving TDs....Had over 1,600 rushing and receiving yards combined in his junior season, including 800 receiving.
